One sledge that hit Dave Nichols took away his ability to walk; A second sled gave him the ability to fly at tremendous speed across the ice. Today he represents Israel in bobsleigh competitions, and is not satisfied with the Paralympic industry he founded, but also stabilizes at the end of the World Championships against healthy and complete athletes. In the meantime, he is having a hard time finding partners in the sunny country in the frozen madness, but does not lose hope that one day the Israeli flag will still be hoisted above the podium of the Winter Olympics.
